KEY PROJECTS

開發建設

Currently, major construction projects in Dubai are concentrated in the Mina Seyahi area and the Jebel Ali district, with key developments including:

Iconic Skyscrapers
Dubai Creek Tower
Located along Dubai Creek, this landmark is designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. With a planned height of at least 828 meters, it aims to surpass the Burj Khalifa. The tower will primarily serve as a tourism attraction and broadcasting hub.

Burj Azizi (formerly Entisar Tower)
Planned to rise 725 meters with 133 floors, construction is set to restart in 2025 and complete by 2030, making it the second tallest tower in Dubai upon completion.

Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co
A supertall residential skyscraper reaching 557 meters with 104 floors, scheduled for completion in 2027. It is positioned to become the tallest residential tower in the world.

Uptown Dubai Tower 1 (Burj 2020)
Located in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, this 711-meter mixed-use skyscraper will feature commercial space and a hotel. Construction is expected to begin in 2025 and finish by 2030.

Infrastructure & Transportation
Dubai Metro Blue Line Extension
The project will add 14 new stations, spanning approximately 30 km. It includes Dubai Creek Harbour Station, which will become the world’s tallest metro station at 74 meters in height. Completion is targeted for 2029, with an estimated 200,000 daily passengers by 2030.

Infinity Bridge
A 300-meter long and 55-meter wide bridge set to open in March 2025, connecting Bur Dubai and Deira, replacing the aging underground tunnel to improve cross-creek connectivity.

Smart & Sustainable Communities
Dubai Urban Tech District
A cutting-edge innovation hub designed for AI, robotics, and green technologies, scheduled to launch in 2025.

The Loop
A 93-kilometer climate-controlled pedestrian and cycling corridor designed to promote urban sustainability and enhance quality of life for residents.

Palm Jebel Ali
A major new artificial island development, roughly twice the size of Palm Jumeirah. Plans include 80 hotels and resorts, along with extensive leisure and entertainment facilities.

Dubai Reefs & Dubai Mangroves
A large-scale marine regeneration initiative featuring coral reef habitats and mangrove forests. The project will combine residential, tourism, ecological, and educational functions to promote environmental resilience.

Urban Regeneration & Livability
Dubai 20-Minute City Plan
Part of the 2040 Urban Master Plan, this initiative aims to ensure that 80% of residents can access daily needs within 20 minutes. While enhancing urban convenience and livability, the plan must address the challenges posed by extreme summer heat.
